P is for Popcorn

Wow did we have fun with the letter P last week. We decorated some paper bags with a picture and then put in pieces of popcorn.
One thing lead to another and then we ended up counting pieces of popcorn and adding together how many we had. It turned into a fantastic maths lesson - maybe the key to learning sometimes involves FOOD!!!
Check out the fun we had around the popcorn table last week.

More from outer space
Here are some thoughts from our Stardome visit.
Jack saw the stars, moon and planets.
The cardboard rocket show made us use our imagination when it took off into space.
Fynn knows that astronauts go into space and they float all around the place.
Hamish found out that the planets are all different. Earth is the only one we can live on.
Hunter enjoyed learning about night and day. He knows that when the sun goes down the moon comes out.
